Components of the vegetable salad production line

The basic equipment of this vortex cleaning type leafy vegetable processing line mainly includes a picking table, automatic vegetable cutting machine, hoist conveyor, vortex cleaning unit, dewatering machine, etc. This is a conventional configuration of the fruit and vegetable deep processing line provided by our factory. Picking conveyor

The picking and conveying table is very useful in fruit and vegetable washing and packaging lines. In the fruit and vegetable vortex cleaning line, the picking table is generally located in the first process of the processing line. Before the fruits and vegetables are sliced, they need to go through a simple picking process to remove impurities such as spoiled fruits and vegetables and leaves.

Vegetable cutting machine

This automatic vegetable cutter is made of 304 stainless steel and can be used for slicing, cutting, dicing, and shredding all kinds of root vegetables and leafy vegetables, etc. The cutting knife of this vegetable cutter can be changed and used to cut different shapes and sizes of vegetables.

Hoit conveyor

The automatic lifter of the lettuce processing plant is specially designed to lift the cut vegetables into the vortex washer. The baffle on the lifting conveyor is made of food-grade PE material, which will not contaminate the vegetables.

Vortex cleaning unit

The vortex cleaning unit part mainly includes a vortex washing machine and a vibrating screen. Unlike the ordinary bubble washer, the vortex washer has a powerful turbine that continuously blows abundant bubbles in the water tank. Therefore, the fresh-cut vegetables will be tumbled in the tank pool, achieving a thorough cleaning effect. In addition, there is no mesh belt in the vortex washer, so there is no jamming of leafy vegetables.

In addition, through the water removal vibrating screen at the outlet, the cleaned fruits and vegetables can quickly shake off the water droplets on the surface. This can improve the dewatering efficiency in the subsequent processing.

Dewatering machine

This batch processing type dewatering machine is mainly used for rapid dewatering of cleaned fruit and vegetable pieces. Its built-in dewatering drum is made of high-quality food-grade PE material, which will not contaminate vegetables and is resistant to wear and tear. We usually sell these dewatering machines with 2-3 additional built-in dewatering drums that can be replaced.

There are various ways to package vegetable salad, the most common ones mainly consist of bagging, boxing, vacuum packing and heat shrink wrapping. Our factory can recommend the right packaging machine, and packaging specifications, and even customize the appearance of the vegetable packaging for our customers according to their salad vegetable packaging needs, etc.
